Ana Korošec (Slovenia/Education) and Noelia Villarino Miño (Spain/Education and training services)

I think that Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a perfect programme where you could obtain new knowledge and gain experience for a better quality of your work or to develop your company. It is also an opportunity to go abroad and learn how the experts are dealing with the different challenges. I learned a lot about how to be creative and find solutions in unexpected situations. Natalia López Merchán (Spain/Tourism) and Willem Sodderland (Netherlands/Food industry)

After some experience in running a start-up for two years, I had the opportunity to land into a 5 years old start-up. I saw many similarities but mainly I learned many things on how they work that I can use for my own company in the future. Basically, that is what this program is about, putting together entrepreneurs so they both can learn and help each other. So I totally encourage other entrepreneurs that seek for learning and also wide their network to do this program. Weiterlesen …

Nastasja Minja (Slovenia/Psychology) and Valentina Bortolotto (Italy/Education and training services) – Corona Story

Since the corona crisis struck I have been staying in the house and complying to the restrictions of movement and social interactions. Not my cup of tea to stay inside and avoid physical contact with people, but what can we do… We need to have respect for others who suffer great consequences, if they contracted the virus. And since it is apparently extremely contagious and you never know how or where you can get in touch with it, we should all find the power within us to respect the quarantine and be patient until new rules apply.

I am keeping contact with my host through What’s App and am continuing with our collaboration online as many others decided to do. I am working on creating content for sport psychology (my profession) while at the same time being available for my host for any activities and possible help he would need from me that I can provide online. I adapted my first SMART goal to the current situation and will complete my work on time until the first deadline. Weiterlesen …

Muhamer Mustafa (North Macedonia/Entertainment industry) – Corona Story

My relationship with my Host Entrepreneur started on the 10th of February of this year. We had a strong start working towards our goals because my business plan matches my HE’s current business model. I got to the chance to learn great information from the beginning, and it was like a dream coming true. One week after, the government of Italy locked down the Lombardy region, by this time me and my HE were already looking for ways on how to prepare in case of a lockdown in our region, that of Tuscany. In our commitment that we prepared before our relationship started, we did agree on working on Marketing strategy and Financial planning for the first half of our EYE relationship, so for us, there was a possibility to work remotely together on our weekly schedule without sacrificing much of our goals. Overall, I would say that we have been affected in two areas, the first, not having a daily routine at the studio and not being able to share information in the place, while working. And the second was, we had to apply some changes and try to adapt in the new situation, that includes the workspace and also using new tools in communication, by changing and adapting the frequency of our interactions to the situation, on a daily basis. Luana Loria (Italy/Cultural projects) and Margarida Branco (Portugal/Distribution and retail) – Corona Story

The bookstore “Ler Por Ai” (Lisbon, Portugal) closed on the 13th of March due to Covid-19 spreading across Europe and Portugal and according to the measure of the Government. I started my Erasmus exchange at the bookstore on the 3rd of February and due to the current situation, the owner Margarida and me talked about the opportunity to work by teleworking, although it would be not possible to perform all the tasks indicated in the work commitments. Therefore, I decided not to go back to my family’s house in Italy since I considered not safe traveling to go back to my country in this period and I chose to collaborate by teleworking with my HE, Margarida Branco, keeping on our exchange in Lisbon. Francisco Valenzuela (Spain/Digital marketing) and Sander Schreven (Netherlands/IT) – Corona Story

I am from Spain and I was doing an exchange in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
I was working there a month and a half, until the coronavirus situation worsened and I had to go back.
My last two weeks I was working remotely, we did Skype calls to organize the tasks and we shared our work on google drive. I think it is important to set a schedule to do your tasks since there is no one to supervise you daily. I also recommend trying to keep in touch with your coworkers with tools like skype, zoom, whatsapp groups, google drive… Weiterlesen …

Edita Jukniute (Spain/Real estate) and Jūratė Andrijauskienė (Lithuania/Real estate) – Corona Story

In my business, the corona virus has had a major impact, restricting travel, diminishing tourism, forcing investors to review plans and suspend operations for a period of time. However, my business is a long-term investment, and during this period it is important not to stop and move closer to the results. At this moment, we decided to take advantage of the situation and not focus on the results but on the market analysis and adaptation. The most important thing is to understand the customer’s needs and meeting them. In this situation, I could benefit from my HE’s experience and from modern technology of nowadays. Weiterlesen …
