Checklist for Host Entrepreneurs – 2 – Application

Your Application

② Your Application

  • First step: You identify and contact your intermediary organisation (IO) in your country and consult them for any questions (IOs of the OPEN-EYE network)
  • You can watch this video and/or consult the helpful registration guideline for the application
  • Register in the IT-Tool (database of the EYE programme).
  • Please be precise about your motivation, as described in the guideline p. 8:
  • You should demonstrate that:

    • You have sufficient experience in running a business;
    • You are engaged in an activity that will give the New Entrepreneur the relevant learning opportunities;
    • You wish to share your entrepreneurial experience and act as a mentor working personally with the New Entrepreneur;
    • You need to specify how you will work with the New Entrepreneur towards developing his/her entrepreneurial skills and know-how.
  • Upload a CV that shows your entrepreneurial experience (minimum 3 years), shows information about your current business and periods of time as well as locations
  • Keep in mind that the CV will be available to NEs interested in a match with you. The more information you want to provide (e.g. about additional activities, memberships, education etc.) beyond your business role the better the picture NEs will have of you and your abilities.
  • Scan of your ID card/passport
  • You may be asked to provide proof of your entrepreneurial status/entrepreneutial registration (it should proof a status like founder, co-founder, owner, co-owner, high level board member or associate)
  • Privacy settings: You can choose in your profile, if you want to publish your contact details in the database, only part of them, or only the contact details of your IO.
  • If your application fulfils the programme criteria, your IO will confirm it and you will get access to the programme’s database (IT-Tool).
